Telemachos was the son of Ulysses. George and Kostas Tsiligiris are the grandsons of Telemachos Tsiligiris, the best butcher the wealthy suburb of Kifisia in the north of Athens has ever known. In their “Telemachos” Grill, located in the building of their grandfather’s shop, they serve excellent quality meat, expertly prepared and served.
Expertly grilled, pink on the inside, crispy on the outside, with just a touch of salt, pepper and oregano, the lamb kidneys I tasted are the epitome of offal delicacy.
