The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide as serving traditional Basque dishes with the occasional modern touch.

I visited the restaurant in the summer of 2010 after my visit to the Sanctuary of Arantzazu, a holy place for the Basques, where a shepherd discovered a sculpture of the Virgin in a thorn-bush.
