The town of Regensburg in Bavaria is located a few kilometers from the Valhalla monument. A small strange building by the river Danube houses a shop that serves grilled sausages and bier to its clientele.
The historic Wurstkuchl is today – along with the cathedral and the Steinerner Brücke – a bit of a “must-see travel guide” for most Regensburg visitors.
The grill is the center of the activities in the kitchen.

The seating space inside is very limited.
The wall is decorated with signs showing the level reached by the waters of Danube when it overflowed in 1965, 1954 and 1988.

The grilled pork sausages are served with sauerkraut, sour cabbage that is smooth and tasty. The problem with these sausages is that you cannot stop eating the until it is too late.
