Thalami is a seafood taverna on the island of Paros. It is located in the small community of Ampelas, near Naoussa, and serves fresh fish and seafood, simply prepared, at very reasonable prices. Contrary to the trend of eating establishments on the island pf Paros, Thalami remains true to its mission to serve super fresh seafood treated with respect at affordable prices.
I visited it in 2013, but good friends who spend their summers in Paros told me that in 2024 it was as good as it were in 2013.
I had two dishes, one better than the other.
The sardines were as fresh as they could be, grilled on charcoal, served with a splash of lemon juice and salt. Absolutely delicious.
The cuttlefish was tender and grilled expertly.
Boiled greens “vlita” combined perfectly with the grilled delicacies.
