Its name is a composite of two words.
Gastro and Olvios.
Olvios is a word used by Omer in the Greek epic poem Iliad, and it means ‘happy’.
I present dishes I have tasted in eating establishments, and dishes I have cooked in my kitchen.
Some of the eating establishment I have visited are presented in separate posts, and linked to the relevant dishes.
