My butcher gave me coarsely minced buffalo meat the other day and I decided to prepare meatballs in tomato sauce. I soften plenty of thinly sliced dried onions in a pan with olive oil. Once they are done I take them off the heat, place them in a big bowl, and when they have cooled off I add the meat, chopped parsley, basil, mint, cumin, and garlic to my taste. I do not add any bread crumbs to the mix.
The rice is boiled in water, without any other additives.
